In the heart of Singapore, the residential AMK Hub shopping center is now equipped with ViaDirect wayfinding solution.

Since 2016, ViaDirect and its local partner Ascenstar successfully equip Singapore’s mall with their wayfinding solution. After NEX, AMK Hub is our second mall project with Singaporean commercial real estate Mercatus Co-operative Limited.

In the residential district of Ang Mo Kio (AMK), a short distance north of downtown Singapore city, at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 and 8, the AMK Hub defines itself as a shopping center dedicated to each and everyone (« it’s all about you »).

Opened in 2007, it hosts around 200 shops and restaurants over its 48,000 m2 retail surface running on 4 stories and 3 basement levels, including one parking floor.

Notably, the AMK Hub welcomes an entertainment center with a games arcade and an 8 movie theaters cineplex, a food court on the 3rd floor, and a Fairprice Xtra hypermarket revamped in 2018.

The ViaDirect/Ascenstar AMK Hub installation consists of 10 wayfinding vertical totems with a 55” human height positioned touch screen.

On top of search and guidance features dedicated to AMK Hub, ViaDirect wayfinding software includes several original features and services.

Thanks to a webcam integrated in each totem front, visitors can directly audio-video contact the center help desk!

And without having to actually go to the Cineplex doors, each totem displays film programs and schedules for the 8 movie theaters (services details on a side note).
