How do I manage updates?

A logo change? A new service? A store deletion? You have access to the content of your map and can make these changes by yourself at any time with our content management interface. If you cannot take care of it or if your changes concern the basis of the map, our support team is there to assist you on a daily basis as part of your maintenance contract.

Can content be synchronized with the destination API from my website?

Of course, this is the ideal solution! You only have one entry point to make your content changes (your website’s CMS). Once the development is done on our side, the updates are smooth, automatic and fully synchronized. You can focus on other matters.

How can I retrieve usage statistics?

ViaDirect’s kiosk and mobile solutions can be connected to Google Analytics and thus provide you with a large number of metrics. This valuable data collected is made available to you through an audience report that you will receive automatically every month. You will be able to use this information to justify, to your teams, the merits of your choice to work with ViaDirect.

What if I have hardware issues, update problems, or need improvements?

Our support team will take care of all hardware issues and updates. Simply send an email with all the necessary details (photos, videos, etc.) to support@viadirect.com to open a ticket on our platform

What do I need to prepare to operate the kiosks?

An electrical and network connection (24/7) is required at each location of the future terminals. Your dedicated project manager will assist you in preparing this work and logistical issues so that the installation and commissioning of these terminals is as smooth as possible.

What if my internet connection is unstable, can the software still work properly?

ViaDirect software works fine during temporary network outages, but a connection is needed for updates, remote access, and some connected features.

What does the maintenance service include?

“Maintenance of your devices corresponds to:
– hosting your software solution on our servers,
– handling of plan and content modifications where applicable,
– software and hardware maintenance,
– on-site interventions within the framework of the hardware and furniture warranty,
– preventive security actions on the servers and the product,
– management of warranty issues with all suppliers concerned…”

Can users start their search on the kiosk and continue with the mobile solution as they move?

Yes, this is the new feature of ViaDirect! The user searches on the terminal and then scans a QRCode on the screen which will take him directly to the same route on his smartphone: he just has to follow the arrows on his mobile and walk towards his destination. Impossible to get lost!

Do you offer financing plans for kiosks?

Yes, ViaDirect kiosks are available for purchase or leasing. Contact our sales team to discuss the best option for your needs.

ViaDirect Mobile

Can ViaDirect Mobile users geolocate themselves?

If geolocation is enabled on the phone, users will see their location on the map as a blue dot. They can also manually declare their position.

In what form and timeframe will my order be delivered?

Within 30 days after validation of your content, you will receive by email a printable file of the QR code giving access to your ViaDirect Mobile solution. You will only have to integrate it into your communication tools to promote it to your users (posters on the wall or on your screens, floor stickers, kakemonos, etc.). A maintenance guide, reminding you of the essential information for the proper operation of your product will also be sent.

How do I integrate ViaDirect Mobile into my mobile app?

This is a separate product, but the map remains the same. Your agency can easily integrate it for iOS or Android. Contact our sales team for more info.

The 4G reception is weak in some areas of my venue. Is that a problem for ViaDirect Mobile?

We recommend promoting the mobile solution in areas with strong 4G/GPS reception or encouraging the use of free Wi-Fi for better performance.

Can I pay my ViaDirect Mobile subscription annually instead of monthly?

Yes, you can pay annually. Please contact your sales representative for more details.

ViaDirect Web

What is the technical solution for integrating ViaDirect Web into my website?

ViaDirect will provide your web agency with an URL to call in iFrame. “Responsive”, the page containing the map can be displayed on all or part of the website, thus allowing you to juggle with the needs: full page for access to the map, in a more restricted area within a store page. ViaDirect Web comes with documentation to help with integration.

What features are available in ViaDirect Web?

From your website, users will be able to interact with the map, search for a store, access destination details, plot a route, with or without the disabled option, etc.

If I already have a ViaDirect product (kiosk or mobile), do I need to make the same changes for the web map?

No, all changes to your map are synchronized across all platforms (kiosks, mobile, and web). One change updates everything.
