After Sweden, ViaDirect has introduced its beaconing solution for the first time in Norway for the CC Vest shopping center near the capital Oslo.
A 9-minute drive west of downtown Oslo, the shopping center was established in 1989 on the border between Bærum and Lilleaker.
Owned by the Norwegian real estate agency Mustad Eiendom AS, the CC Vest shopping center was built on a former factory in the Lilleaker industrial area, which has been transformed into a residential area a few kilometers from the center of Oslo.
Since then, the CC Vest shopping area has grown to 54,900 m2, with a diverse selection of chain shops including one of Norway’s best grocery shops: Vinmonopolet. The complex has about 90 stores. It is one of many shopping centers in Norway.
With a population of around 1.5 million, the traffic in the Oslo area is very heavy. As a result, the shopping centre focuses on the customer experience.
CC Vest is therefore improving the customer experience with the ViaDirect solution.
Installed by MultiQ, our partner in the country, the complete installation consists of 5 horizontal interactive kiosks running ViaDirect orientation and information software.
ViaDirect wayfinding software for CC Vest Lilleaker / Oslo includes…
- Interactive 3D map of the shopping center
- Option: Chosen itinerary sent to visitor’s mobile phone
- Search by name, categories and brands for the center’s destinations: shops, restaurants and services
- Direct itineraries towards restrooms and the center’s car park
- CC Vest information and services (taxis, ATM…)
- User-interface in Norwegian
