In Cancún, Mexico, in the heart of the famous tourist area, the shopping mall Kukulcán Plaza guides its visitors with 4 Gazelle totems signed by ViaDirect.
Built-in the heart of Zona Hotelera, Cancún hotel zone at the end of Yucatan Peninsula, North-East of Mexico, Kukulcán Plaza mall has operated since 1992.
Remodeled once in 2002, the mall has undertaken several embellishments since 2017, including, recently, a complete refurbishment for a soon-to-be-announced official reopening.
According to Mexican real estate Fibra Shop, 1,8 million people come annually to visit the mall’s 64,000 m2 of retail shops and services.
Urban and hotel extension of Cancún seaside resort city, the Zona Hotelera is a stretch of land that draws a lagoon in the Caribbean Sea.
The 23 km long land is crossed all the way by the Kukulcán boulevard that gives the mall its name.
Laying on it, the Zona Hotelera opens the way towards the second biggest coral reef barrier of the world near Cozumel Island, 113 km away.
Up and running since May 2019, the ViaDirect equipment of Kukulcán Plaza includes 4 Gazelle designed kiosks with 43’’ touch screens.
The interactive services offer a structure similar to the ones of previous real estate Fibra Shop and ViaDirect projects for Puerta la Victoria, Plaza Cibeles, and Galerías Mall Sonora.
Of course, the Kukulcán Plaza interactive user interface is dressed with the mall’s own visual identity.
Among the around 70 retail destinations from fashion, luxury, souvenirs, craft shops, the mall hosts a Harley Davidson showroom and a… Téquila Museum!
