Orange, a leading telecommunications operator, is committed to creating innovative, people-centered workplaces. At its Innovation, Research, and Development campus in Châtillon, known as Orange Gardens Campus, the company set out to improve the daily experience of more than 3,000 employees. The goal was achieved through the use of digital wayfinding solutions.
By integrating advanced interactive navigation tools, Orange Gardens Campus makes mobility across its extensive site easier, ensuring a seamless experience for both employees and visitors.
Simplifying Navigation at Orange Gardens Campus
Spanning 72,000 m², navigating the campus can be challenging. To address this, Orange expanded the deployment of ViaDirect interactive kiosks, placing them in strategic locations.
These digital interactive kiosks provide real-time information, helping users quickly locate meeting rooms, offices, and campus services. They also display practical details such as public transport options, nearby restaurants, and other amenities. The result is greater efficiency and accessibility for everyone.
Evolution of Digital Wayfinding on Campus
Orange first introduced ViaDirect kiosks at Orange Gardens Campus in 2016. As the workforce grew, the company enhanced its tools to meet rising demands for efficient space management.
Unlike other Orange sites—Lumière (Lacassagne), Deux Lions (Tours), Grand Stade (Lille), and Bridge (Issy-les-Moulineaux)—Orange Gardens Campus has a unique design. Multiple buildings and complex traffic flows require tailored navigation solutions to keep movement smooth for employees and visitors alike.
