Visitors to the City2 shopping center in Brussels can now benefit from the ViaDirect wayfinding solution in collaboration with our partner JCDecaux.
This shopping center, owned by the Ageas Group, is located in the center of Brussels, in the former building of the department stores’ “Au Bon Marché”, near the Boulevard of Jardin Botanique.
Dating from 1978, it is the second largest shopping mall in Belgium with a surface area of 51,000 m2. City2 has nearly a hundred shops such as Fnac, Esprit, Zara with multiple services and the Carrefour supermarket. The mall is spread over 4 floors with a car park.
It is very accessible, especially because of its direct access to the Rogier metro station.
JCDecaux has installed 7 totems with the ViaDirect wayfinding software. This operating system offers an interactive solution which facilitates the access to the different shops and restaurants and allows the visitors to interact intuitively with the 3D map that represents all the 4 levels of the mall including the parking lot.
ViaDirect software for City2 mall includes :
- 3D interactive map of the 4 levels of the mall
- Shop browsing by categories: beauty & health, food & beverages, gifts & souvenirs, entertainment, telecommunication…
- Search of shops by words and alphabetical order A-Z
- Display of mall events and news
- Guidance towards nearby public transportations
- User interface in French, Dutch and English
