Guiding Patients and Visitors at the Arnault Tzanck Institute
The Arnault Tzanck Medical-Surgical Institute, a premier healthcare facility in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, France, faced significant challenges in navigating its complex network of eight buildings. To enhance the experience for patients and visitors, the Institute implemented ViaDirect’s wayfinding solution in 2017.
Two interactive kiosks, equipped with 43’’ touchscreens, were installed to provide user-friendly navigation. These kiosks were specifically designed to be accessible for individuals with reduced mobility and disabilities, enabling them to independently consult information and plan their routes.
To further improve the wayfinding experience, the Institute adopted ViaDirect Mobile. This mobile solution allows patients and visitors to access real-time navigation directly on their smartphones. By simply scanning a QR code, users can view interactive maps, locate specific departments, professionals and receive personalized directions.
The implementation of ViaDirect’s wayfinding solution has significantly enhanced the patient and visitor experience at the Institute, but also it has been a valuable tool to offer alternative routes in case of construction or service relocation.
By prioritizing effective navigation and accessibility, the Institute not only facilitates smoother visits but also fosters a welcoming environment that prioritizes a good experience. As healthcare facilities continue to embrace innovative solutions, the Arnault Tzanck Institute sets a strong example of how technology can transform the patient experience.
