Located in Cergy, Les 3 Fontaines shopping center stands out as a key destination. Spanning 100,000 square meters and home to 200 shops and restaurants, the center attracted 12 million visitors in 2024. In a bid to further enhance the visitor experience, the decision was made to implement a mobile solution.
A More Environmentally Friendly Approach with the Mobile Map
The center earned the BREEAM certification in 2021, a recognition of its commitment to sustainable development. As part of its ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental impact, the decision was made to eliminate paper shopping guides. This initiative further aligned with their sustainability goals. In continuation of this approach, Les 3 Fontaines chose to implement the ViaDirect Mobile solution. As a result, the spaces were redesigned to feature QR Codes that link directly to the mobile map. This addition complements the existing wayfinding kiosks. Furthermore, the outdoor areas surrounding the center were integrated into the map, improving the visibility of nearby stores and facilitating easier access to surrounding transportation options.
Improving the Visitor Experience with the Mobile Map
To enhance convenience, visitors are now able to access the mobile map through their smartphones by simply scanning the QR code. Once accessed, the mobile map allows users to view the center’s layout and choose personalized itineraries. Thanks to features such as the A-Z shop lists and categories, locating specific points of interest has never been easier. Additionally, the mobile map utilizes artificial intelligence to streamline product searches, helping visitors find stores that offer the desired items. Moreover, the itineraries are specially designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility, ensuring that the experience remains inclusive and accessible for all.
