A New Era of Shopping Convenience
Forum des Halles has improved the shopping experience for its more than 50 million annual visitors with the introduction of ViaDirect’s digital signage system. Designed in collaboration with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, the shopping center installed 12 interactive “MapWall” kiosks throughout the complex.
The MapWall is a user-friendly digital display that features a dual-screen design: a large, static screen displaying the map and store listings, and a smaller touchscreen joystick for interactive navigation. This ingenious layout is highly visible from a distance and it is designed to be used by different types of users at the same time, reducing wait times and improving efficiency.
A Connected Shopping Experience
The MapWall is more than just a wayfinding tool. It seamlessly integrates with Westfield’s API digital ecosystem, providing real-time updates on promotions, events, and cinema screenings, which ensures that shoppers always have access to the latest information at their fingertips. Plus, the system automatically updates daily, saving time and effort for the center.
To further enhance the shopping experience they introduced ViaDirect’s mobile solution. By scanning a QR code on the MapWall or at various locations throughout the center, visitors can receive personalized navigation assistance directly on their smartphones.
With this innovative digital signage and wayfinding solution, Forum des Halles is redefining the shopping experience, making it more convenient and enjoyable for every visitor.
