In 2017, ViaDirect has installed its wayfinding software in the Markthal shopping mall in Rotterdam.
As a result of a renovation of Markthal’s digital identity, ViaDirect has actualized the software as well as the hardware of the 5 kiosks in the shopping mall.
All the software was remade in order to represent the new image (digital identity) of this interesting shopping mall and some parts of the hardware were replaced to improve the performance of all the kiosks.
The inner facade of the Markthal is covered with a giant illustration, measuring 11,000 m2. This work is inspired by Dutch paintings, among others, which makes it a remarkable work.
This shopping mall has won different architecture awards due to its futuristic and innovative design.
It is in this context that we have developed our software so that it best represents the new graphic identity of this shopping mall dedicated to the pleasures of gourmets.
