Following the continuity of deployments at Westfield

Euralille, one of the largest shopping centers in the Hauts-de-France region, sits in the heart of Lille. Located near the Lille-Flandres and Lille-Europe railway stations, it attracts millions of visitors each year with its diverse shopping, dining, and leisure offerings.

To improve its customers’ experience, the Euralille shopping center modernized its wayfinding and information system using the ViaDirect solution. The goal is to guide visitors more effectively and streamline traffic flow through the center.

To achieve this, the center installed 3 VDMapWall interactive totems, all connected to its API (Application Programming Interface).

These kiosks provide visitors with:

• Intuitive mapping to quickly locate the center’s shops and services.
• Intelligent itinerary calculation
• Center news, promotions and events.

The MapWall consists of an upright totem with a large landscape-format screen for display and a 10″ touchscreen that controls the upper display. Visitors can search for stores, and the itinerary is displayed on the large-screen map. This dual-screen setup enables visitors to easily find their way around, confirm directions, and search for specific stores or itineraries simultaneously.

In addition to the installation at Euralille, ViaDirect has completed several other deployments in URW (Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield) centers, further expanding our impact in enhancing shopping experiences through interactive and intuitive wayfinding solutions.

By integrating these interactive totems, the shopping center’s navigation system now provides a seamless and efficient experience for all visitors.
